MANILA, Philippines— (UPDATE) Sally Ordinario-Villanueva, one of the three Filipinos facing execution in China this Wednesday, has been brought to the execution chamber, according to a Radyo Inquirer report quoting Jason Ordinario, Villanueva’s brother.

Likewise, Villanueva’s belongings have been turned over by Chinese authorities to her relatives moments before her execution, said a separate Radyo Inquirer report quoting Mylene Ordinario’s text message to her husband, Arthur, here in the Philippines.

“Binigay na nila ang mga gamit ni ate, grabe, one hour lang talaga. Pababa na kami ngayon ng court. Wala silang awa (They gave us sister’s belongings. We were only given one hour. We are leaving the court. They are merciless),” the text message read. Mylene, together with the relatives of the two other convicted drug traffickers flew to China Sunday in an attempt to plead for the lives of their relatives.

Villanueva is one of the three Filipinos set to be executed by lethal injection in China Wednesday after being convicted of drug trafficking.
