SINGAPORE: Expect to pay more for your taxi ride from next week.
Managing director of Premier Taxis, Mr Lim Chong Boo, told Channel NewsAsia it will impose a fuel surcharge of 50 cents per ride from next Wednesday.
Premier Taxis has about 2,000 cabs.
It's likely that the other six taxi companies in Singapore will do the same, though not immediately.
Altogether, the seven companies own some 28,000 taxis in Singapore.
