The Housing and Development Board announced on Wednesday the availability of 3,923 new built-to-order (BTO) flats, the first batch of the 25,000 flats it aims to launch this year.
The flats spread across five projects – Fernvale Lea, Sunshine Gardens, Tampines Alcoves, Tampines GreenTerrace and Waterway Sunbeam – will rise in Choa Chu Kang, Punggol, Sengkang and Tampines.
Selling prices of the flats range from S$77,000 for studios to as much as S$340,000 for five-room apartments, HDB said.
At least 95 per cent of the flat supply will be set aside for first-timer households, the agency said.
Eligible first-timer households will be able to use various housing grants for the purchase of the flats, it added.
In Mar 2012, HDB will be offering about 4,110 new flats for sale in Bedok, Bukit Batok, Bukit Panjang, Bukit Timah, Clementi, Geylang and Toa Payoh.
