All the boxing fans in the world are only rooting for just one dream fight none other than the fight between pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr who recently announced his comeback fight against Victor Ortiz on september 2011 after a long month of laid off. There are many questions that need an answer and it will only solve if this two great fighters will meet in the ring.
But before all these questions are answered,
Who needs who?
Let's analyze the scenario. Let say all the negations will be made and agreed upon, these are my thoughts.
If Floyd Beats Manny...
What can you say. It's like the end of days in the Philippines. It's blaming time. Everybody has their own say; why Manny didn't do this and that, as if they know boxing.
Floyd and his allies will be the most happy and relieved people in the world. His trash talk will definitely reach the gods in heaven and now He has all rights to say “He is the Greatest Boxer that ever lived. He has the money, power and fame.
The worst is all Manny's achievement will be set aside. Even though Manny won 10 titles in 8 different weight categories, Pachaters will say he only fought Floyd leftovers to reach that status and now he already defeated by Floyd. All his critics will celebrate, "Pacquiao is overrated" and call themselve boxing experts.Manny lost it all.
If Manny beats Floyd...
Most of the politician in the Philippines from barangay councillor to the President most likely in the USA to give moral support to Pacman not thinking their responsibility to the country rather than watching it live on TV, and of course they will use their own money not our money.
Anyway lets back to the topic.. If Manny beats Floyd. Philippines will be the happiest country in the planet. Every Filipino will rejoice and another peaceful day of 0% crime rate.
For this win Manny undoubtedly will become the "The greatest boxer of all Time". All the critics, (pachaters) will become his followers (pactards). Manny's chance to become the president of the Philippines in the future increases. He will have a lot of endorsements, music album or maybe a Hollywood Movie.
Jinky will be the most beautiful girl in the world. Mommy dionisia can buy another Hermes Bag or 2. Most of all, once more Manny made us proud to be Filipino all over the World. Manny is the Man "You Know”.
As for my opinion even I badly like to see this fight, it is better that this fight won’t happen. Manny legacy will be affected more than Floydie and he has a lot to risk on this fight. Manny's status now in “All time Great” is better than Mayweather. So for me it’s a No No...
