SINGAPORE : Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong has shared his 4G concept for Marine Parade GRC for the next five years at a gathering for new residents in his constituency.
The 4G concept touches on the division being a great home, with its people being gracious and generous and environmentally conscious, and will be part of the GRC's manifesto for the coming General Election.
Mr Goh said that interacting with residents is a key element of implementing the 4Gs in Marine Parade.
Activities like line dancing are all part of the objective of forging a 4G home in the constituency.
Mr Goh added that the Marine Parade GRC team would pursue these social plans, in addition to improving the physical environment of the ward.
SM Goh also invited views about the 4G plans on the Marine Parade Facebook page.
He said: "I intend to do a short posting on this concept of 4G. I will invite feedback on how to make 4G a reality for Marine Parade and Marine Parade GRC. So your comments through MParader will be most welcomed.
"On the ground, we are going to put up banners and so on for people to understand that there is a Facebook for them to engage each other."
