For Globe subscribers who placed their orders early on, their handsets were given out during the official launch last Sunday held in simultaneous events at the Makati Shangri-la and New World hotels.

Apple has sold a record three million iPhone 4 units since its June 24 release in the United States.

Features of the iPhone 4, which replaces the iPhone 3GS, include a camera on the front of the phone, which makes it possible for users to engage in video calls.

The iPhone 4 also features a camera with LED flash, high-definition video recording, a faster processor, an improved gyroscope and up to 40 percent longer talk time.

Apple’s App Store also gives users access to more than 205,000 applications for the iPhone, including the new iMovie app designed just for iPhone 4.
